Fractions Intro
Fraction skills are needed in all health care situations. Fractions appear in medication dosages, measurements, sizes of instruments, work assignments, and time units. Be assured that understanding fractions is a foundational skill necessary for making conversions among systems and is applicable to measurements and dosing.
This will be a review of fractions.

1. Identify Types of fractions
2. Convert an improper fraction to a whole number and a whole number to a fraction
3. Reduce fractions to lowest terms or raise a fraction to higher terms
4. Add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions and mixed numbers
