WORK EXPERIENCE
This section of the resume is very important to delineate your skills as they relate to the position you are applying for, show your breadth of experience, and focus the reviewer’s attention on your work performance.
To keep with the quadrant format, students should consider one of two formats for each entry. Space the information evenly across the line.
Place the most recent work experience first.
If you have never worked, use this area of the resume to provide information on your community service, volunteering, or internships.

Then, below each item provides a listing of your tasks and work completed, how it is or was done, and the tools used to do that job. Each of these should begin with an action verb that shows what you have done.
If possible, include some numbers or data that shows your skills, demonstrates your abilities, and your qualities as a worker.

Notice the use of past tense verbs previous duties. Please know that three or four bulleted items is sufficient.
The work experience can include many types of work – paid and volunteer. The important element is that whatever is listed supports some aspect of the position’s duties that are applying for.
