The Automotive Service Writer will guide customers through their service experience—understanding their needs, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring timely completion of services. Your responsibilities will include communicating with customers in person and online, scheduling appointments, accurately processing customer requests, and ordering necessary parts.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent customer service skills, strong organizational capabilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about providing the best customer experience possible.

Pay for Service Writer:

• $21.00 to $30.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities for Service Writer:

• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing a friendly and professional experience while assessing their service needs.
• Accurately communicate customer requirements and vehicle issues to technicians and prepare detailed service estimates, explaining recommended repairs and costs.
• Schedule and coordinate service appointments, maintaining efficient workflow and timely service while keeping customers updated on progress.
• Order necessary parts and supplies to ensure timely availability for scheduled services and collaborate closely with technicians for prompt service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, repair orders, service histories, and parts used.
• Process billing and payments to ensure a seamless transaction experience and follow up with customers post-service to confirm satisfaction and address questions.
• Recommend additional services to enhance vehicle care and improve customer satisfaction.
