Setting up 1:1 appointments with RTC Career Service Team on Handshake

Step-by-step tutorial on how to make an appointment with RTC Career Services :
Log in or sign up Links to an external site. for Handshake using your RTC school email address.
1. Click on Career Center.
2. Click on Appointments
3. Click on Schedule a New Appointment
4. Click on the desired Category, then click on the desired Type of Appointment. Some categories have more than one appointment type.
5. A list of available appointment dates will appear based on the category and type selected. From this page, you can use the Category, Type, Staff Member, and Appointment Medium menus to change selections and choose from available appointment options. Click on a time that works for you from the list that appears under the date.
Make sure you have selected the correct Category and Type.
6. Select your desired Appointment medium from the dropdown menu, then enter details about the appointment in the "What can we help you with?" section.
Complete the required Survey and click green Request button.
Final Step: You will be taken to the overview of the appointment where you can cancel the appointment or add comments before the appointment.
- Make sure to check your notifications for updates to the status of your appointment!

- If you cannot attend the appointment, cancel or reschedule it through Handshake or by contacting RTC Career Service at 425-235-6617.
You can cancel your appointment up to one hour before the scheduled time. Please note, if the cancellation is within one hour of your appointment, you will be marked as a no-show. More about Appointment policy on our Home page.
