Emergency Maintenance – Preparations for inclement weather and potential power outages

Last month we experienced a power outage on our campus. Our team was in the process of configuring redundancies hosted as cloud services. Before the outage we didn’t have a chance to test our configuration and as a result several services/applications were unavailable during the first day of our outage. With the weather reports predicting harsh weather conditions in our area we would like to take the opportunity to test our new configuration so that these services/applications are available in the event of another power outage.

When will this occur?

5:30 PM – Tuesday 02/09/2021 and will last approximately 45 minutes.

How does this affect you?

You may not be able to log in to some systems during the testing process. If our testing is successful, you won’t notice any interruption in service.
