General Overview

How long is the program? 2 quarters (6 months) with 24 total credits
When do classes meet? Most are online, but the basic computer classes have on-campus options.
Gain essential skills in business project coordination, communication, and digital productivity. This program equips you with the technology and interpersonal skills needed to manage digital tasks and develop key abilities in collaboration, time management, problem-solving, and adaptability. You will learn computer operations, digital content creation, and how to use AI tools for productivity, preparing you for roles such as project coordinator, marketing coordinator, and data analyst assistant.
This certificate is a combination of two short certificates: AI for Productivity and Project Coordination Essentials.
You also can use ASST classes as electives for an AAS degree in Accounting, Construction Management, Contemporary Business, Entrepreneurship, or Legal Assistant.

- Access to a functioning laptop or computer (you may use computers in the RTC Library or Learning Resource Center)
- Webcam and headphones OR a working cell phone with video call capability (in case you want to join class sessions on Zoom)

Minimum grades or GPA
You need to earn a 2.0 in each class to complete your Business Project Coordinator certificate.
Financial Aid Eligibility Warning
This specific program is not eligible for federal financial aid because it is too short. Please talk to your adviser about different ways to pay for tuition.
Quarter 1 Classes
You practice typing more quickly and correctly, setting up meetings in Zoom and Microsoft Teams, and using Microsoft Office programs for business purposes like cover letters, resumes, and memos. You also use AI like ChatGPT responsibly
