General Overview

When can I start? Fall (September) or Winter (January)

When do classes meet? FLEX modality and online -- Monday to Thursday evenings

Are summer classes required? No. There are no construction management classes during summer quarter.

This short program teaches you how to support to construction site supervisors. You will help check the work being done, keep the site safe and clean, and make sure tools and materials are in the right place. You also may help with simple paperwork and talk with workers and delivery teams when needed. You should be on time, ready to work outdoors, and willing to learn.

You can expect to earn between $45,700 and $52,000 to start.

Overall Materials Needed:

  1. Functioning laptop or computer (these are available on campus in the library and Learning Resource Center)
  2. Webcam and headset with microphone for any online class meetings
  3. Working internet connection
  4. Textbooks and materials ($230)

Note: If you have completed the Office Assistant Certificate, you can use your ASST 144 credits for CONST 103. You can also substitute ASST 104 from the Business Project Coordinator program.
