Pushing Boundaries
Text: Being human means to search; seek answers to questions, and adjust to new findings. No matter where we were born, where we are now, and what kind of jobs we have; we need to make some changes in order to survive and thrive. To develop and progress we must push boundaries to find new places, new jobs, and new friends. Science pushes boundaries. We went to the moon. We learned a lot about the moon. Now we are going to Mars. We are pushing our boundaries. Why are we doing this? Have we learned everything about our own planet that now we want to go to Mars? Have we solved the problems we have? Have we solved the problems about the environment and our economy? Have we solved our differences, our education, our national, racial, and gender issues here on earth; etc. etc.? These are real issues we have on earth—at home. Are we escaping from reality? OR are we trying to find answers to real problems at home by going away from home? What do you think?
As you know by now, "boundary" means limit. Our collective purpose in life is to advance civilization. How can we do it, if we do not go beyond our limits? We have to push our limits in a human, legal and proper way in order to advance. You may use writing or media file to share your ideas in this discussion.
