DVD Group Viewing (Plan Now)

Time to Plan Ahead

Starting with Unit two, this quarter you will have 4 DVDs on various topics to watch in the RTC Library. There are 2 in this month, and 2 in February. These DVDs are on reserve for our course. You can watch the DVDs in the library only.

You have three options: 1.) You may want to watch these DVDs together as a group with your classmates, so that  you can discuss them after viewing and take notes for sharing your thoughts in the discussions. Of course, you may watch the DVDs as many times as you want on that day or even later. 2.) You may watch it by yourself at a time that is convenient for you in the library. 3.) if you cannot go to the library for any reasons, you may just watch the videos embedded in their lessons.

When a new module opens, you will have access to a lesson to finish before watching the DVD. Students who finish the lesson in the module within its period may watch the DVD together if they want to, when the time comes.

Below are the dates for group viewing of the DVDs in the library. 

For group viewing, remember to call the library and let them know that you are my students and arrange for a time to view the DVD together; and BE there on-time. Please mark your calendar with this information.

_ Friday, January 17: "Get Going on the Job". One member of your group should call the library to let them know that you are a group of my students who would like to watch this DVD at (...Time) on this day.

_ Monday, January 27: "Communication for Results"

_ Monday, February 17: "Job Interview Mistakes" 

_ Thursday, February 27: "Ouch! That stereotype hurts!"
