Are you  a Refugee and Receiving Cash Assistance and/or Medical Assistance from DSHS?

Symptoms, testing and care

How do you recognize COVID-19 symptoms, where to get tested, and what to do if you or a loved one becomes ill? This page offers information on how to care for yourself and others. Most people with COVID-19 have milder illness and are able to recover at home without medical care.

For testing and medical advice, connect with your healthcare provider or a nurse consulting line.

  • If you do not have a healthcare provider, call the King County COVID-19 call center between 8 AM – 7 PM PST at 206-477-3977.
  • If you or someone you are caring for is experiencing a medical emergency 9-1-1.
  • You can also call the King County 24-Hour Crisis Line at 1-866-427-4747 for professional mental health services and support.

You will reach the Community Health Access Program line for all of King County. 

They will connect you to clinics, and resources.

Health Insurance Open Enrollment is now Available until April 8th

The Health Benefit Exchange has opened a Special Enrollment Period due to the COVID-19 virus, which means people who missed out on Open Enrollment can now enroll under this special circumstance through April 8th
