Bookstore Information
The Entrepreneurship program uses Open Educational Resources (OER).
This means that all of your books for BUS and BUS& classes are free and available online! You can still visit the bookstore for pens, pencils, notebooks, and other class supplies.
General Overview
When can I start? Fall (September) and Winter (January) for full-time and Spring (April) or Summer (July) for part-time
How long is the program? 2 or 3 quarters (6 to 9 months) with 32 total credits
When do classes meet? Times vary but online and FLEX options are available
Are summer classes required? No. You can complete this certificate without attending classes during the summer quarter.
Learn skills to start and run a small business or manage someone else’s with skills in management, accounting, marketing, human relations, and other skills.
You can continue with the Contemporary Business Administration certificate (4 quarters) or the Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree (6 quarters).

Salaries vary due to a variety of services and products, results may vary depending on the success of the service and or products provided to the public.

Overall Materials Needed:
- Access to a functioning laptop or computer (you may use computers on the RTC campus)
- USB drive (thumb drive)
- Webcam
- Headset with microphone
- Working internet connection
Minimum grades or GPA to graduate
You need a 1.0 or higher in each class, and your cumulative or overall GPA must be 2.0 or higher to complete your certificate.
Materials Warning
If you rent a textbook, make sure you return it by the deadline. If you purchase a textbook, you can sell it back to the RTC bookstore -- but make sure that you won't need the book again for classes in the future!
