This TRiO On-line "class" is an on-line extension of the TRiO program at Seattle Central College. You will be able to find a lot of information here, but please, come and see us in person too.  In this CANVAS site as with our in-person services, we in TRiO do not make decisions for our students.  We provide our students with the most accurate and up-to-date information we have available. Final authority on information such as deadlines, prerequisites, and requirements rest with institutional information provided on the website or in the catalog of Seattle Central College and/or your transfer institution.  Final responsibility in making decisions with accurate information rests with the student.  It is your education, career preparation, and future.  We seek to assist you in being in an informed confident position when making your decisions.  Let us know how we can assist you.  Ask questions, and ask us to explain our answers when they're not clear.  Make us aware of contradictory information you come across and please let us know if you find any out of date information or dead links on this site.

Students with documented disabilities requesting class accommodations, requiring special arrangements in case of building evacuation, or have emergency medical information the instructor should know about are asked to contact the disability support services office (DSS) in Rm. 1112. Once the disability is verified with DSS you will be given a letter of accommodation to be  handed to your instructor.
